The incident took place on Thursday, 19 October, when heavy rain came into the country with severe winds. Wendy was reported missing in the afternoon as per reports, and later her body was recovered from the Water of Lee, Glen Esk, in the evening at around 16:00.
When her family members got to know about it, they were heartbroken and paid tribute to her. The 57-year-old Wendy left her husband “George” and their children “James, Sally and Susanna” alone.
