Nottingham Attack Victims
In Nottingham there are three people are stabbed to death, in which two are teenagers and another one is an aged man who is a school caretaker. He is also around 65 years old. There are other three people who are injured and are admitted to the hospital in critical condition. They were hit by the stolen van.
The police are yet to ascertain their names but the teenagers and aged man who died have been confirmed. The names of all three are Ian Coates 65, Barnaby Webber 19, and Grace O’Malley-Kumar 19.
The dead bodies of both students were found on Ilkeston Road around 04:00 A.M. fatally injured and after some time at around 05:00, they found the third body of the school caretaker whose van was apparently stolen found with knife wounds on Magdala Road, just under 3.2 km from the scene of the first two killings.
Who was Ms. Grace O’Malley-Kumar?
“Grace was an adored daughter and sister; she was a truly wonderful and beautiful young lady,” Kumar’s family said in a statement. As per the Firstpost. Grace O’Malley Kumar was 19 years old. She is an Indian-origin girl, whose father is from India and who married an Irish lady in the U.K. Grace’s father is well know doctor in London.
Her father is Sanjoy Kumar and her mother is Sinead O’Malley who is also a London-based consultant anaesthetist. Her father also has a second name “Hero”, he saved the lives of some teenagers who are also victims of a stabbing at his local surgery in 2009. She was also doing medical studies at Nottingham University. Before Joining Nottingham University Grace Kumar studied at Bancroft’s School in north-east London. She was a first-year student who volunteered for the National Immunization Program during the pandemic and went on to work in a GP surgery.

“Grace was so happy in life fulfilling her ambition of studying to become a doctor whilst playing topflight hockey at university. She leaves behind devastated extended family and friends,” the Statement of Grace Family. She is also a very good athlete and a top-rated sportswoman.
At the age of only 19, she was a member of England Under 16 and Under 18 Squads. Grace played hockey for Southgate Hockey Club and Cricket for Woodford Wells Cricket Club of London. The Woodford Wells Cricket Club described Grace Kumar as a “fiercely competitive, talented, and dedicated cricketer”.
