A video of a High School teacher began to circulate on the internet, especially on Facebook on Wednesday afternoon. The Facebook post was shared by a netizen named Phillip Mckelvey, the video begins “How is this fool still teaching!! LANDRUM HIGH SCHOOL NEEDS TO GET THIS GUY OUT!”
In the viral video, the high school teacher can heard saying, “I don’t care if you say the pledge. You guys are a bunch of trash Americans anyway. None of you even freaking care. None of you care about this country, otherwise, you would have freaking had some patriotism, but you freaking don’t. You guys sit here like a bunch of freaking r*tards… half of you are failing my class right now.”
He also screamed at a student by saying “I don’t give a damn, I’m not talking to you.”
Landrum High School Football Teacher Viral Video
Phillip Mckelvey disclosed that his son was also one of the students who was taught by the Landrum High School teacher. Mckelvey said he got upset after seeing the teacher’s behavior with the students.
He added, “You can’t just throw terms like that out so loosely. I’m not okay with that. If the school district is OK with that, I don’t want my kid to be in the school district.”
The school has not released any statement regarding this incident as of writing this article.
The identity of the teacher has not been disclosed so far.
“The teacher featured in the video circulating on social media is no longer employed with Spartanburg School District One,” The District released a statement, “This decision aligns with our commitment to maintaining a safe and respectful environment for our students and staff. We acknowledge the concerns raised by this incident and extend our sincere apologies to our students, parents, and other staff members.”
“We would like to restate, that the conduct displayed in the video does not reflect the values and standards of our district,” the statement continued.
