Award-winning stand-up comedian and television personality, Cal Wilson was rushed to hospital for treatment of her short illness, which was she going throw. On the 11th of October morning doctor shared the tragic news with her family that she was no more.
Her husband, Chris Woods, and son, Digby, have shaken from inside after listening to this news. She passed away at Sydney’s Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The real cause of her death is not disclosed by anyone.
One of her co-hosts said, that the actor and comedian seemed very sick when he last time saw her before she died from a short illness. She was just 53 years old and left a legacy behind her family.
Wendy Moore, Foxtel Lifestyle’s general manager, said her team was completely devastated to lose such “an amazing, vibrant person”.

There is only reason behind her abrupt death vigorously spreading on the internet was that she died from a brief illness. Cal Wilson had lived with her husband and her only son in Sunshine, a suburb of Melbourne.
Her death took place at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital in Camperdown, Sydney on Wednesday 11 October. She was the co-host of Foxtel’s Great Australian Bake Off, which was in production when she was first admitted to hospital, as per 9 News.
Her death’s news was also confirmed by her Instagram post, “Vale Cal Wilson. We are devastated to share the news that Cal Wilson, the much-loved stand-up comedian, writer, and actor died today, surrounded by family and friends in hospital after a short illness.
Cal was loved by her family, friends, fans, and peers and a huge hole has been torn in the heart of our community.”
