A Virginia State Police spokesperson wrote in an email, “At approximately 2:30 a.m. Thursday (Nov. 9), a 19-year-old male subject was found deceased in a dormitory on the campus of “James Madison University,” at this stage of the investigation, the death does not appear to be suspicious in nature.”

“Ben was a fantastic kid, loved by so many in our club. He is already deeply missed. We are here for anyone who wants a safe space to talk or share memories of Ben”, and so on.
