Sam Wills came to light after performing in America’s Got Talent’s season 11 as a contestant. He showed his talent in the show while sticking tape on his mouth and wearing a couple of oven mitts.
He is widely known as Tape Face and he also hosts his own events show Tape Face Las Vegas Show. He has been also featured in the New Zealand International Comedy Festival. He has been a finalist on Season 11 of America’s Got Talent.
Sam Wills began his performance career in Timaru when he was only thirteen years old. He uses various range of styles and skills in his performance. He received a diploma from Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.
In his school, he has taught juggling for two years. He won the Best New Face award for the 2001 season for his comedy appearance.

Sam Wills aka Tape Face auditioned in the reality show America’s Got Talent’s season 11 premiered on 31 May 2016. He went through the next round on the show. Unfortunately, he could not reach a top-five spot and later he was eliminated from America’s Got Talent (AGT) on 14 September.
Later, he also appeared in AGT in 2019 and got a place in the top 4. Recently, he is the host of his own performance show “Tape Face Las Vegas Show” at the House of Tape Theater within Harrah’s Las Vegas.
