John Snowling’s Wife: John Snowling, a former cop who opened fire at a popular Orange County biker bar, had three killed and six injured during this incident. According to reports, this occurred due to a domestic dispute with his ex-wife.
Who is John Snowling’s Wife?
John Snowling, 59, identified as a former police officer, worked for the Ventura Police Department for more than 25 years. He shot and killed 3 people and 6 seriously injured Wednesday night at the Cook’s Corner bar in Trabuco Canyon.
According to reports, John went to the bar looking for his estranged wife Marie, who filed for divorce in December 2022.
Orange County Sheriff Don Barnes said, that he (John Snowling) walked up to his wife without “a discussion, dialogue or an argument, and “he immediately fired upon her, hitting her once.”
His wife Marie Snowling was rushed to hospital and later regained consciousness and she was expected to survive, officially stated, that her husband was killed outside the bar in a shootout with deputies.
Marie Scowling’s attorney, Kenneth Henjum, “Our thoughts and prayers are with the individuals and the families of this tragedy, We are awaiting further information from the medical professionals regarding Marie’s current condition.”
What Happened with Marie Snowling?
A 59-year-old former Police Officer tried to kill his estranged wife when he encountered his wife (Marie) at a bar. Marie’s father William Mosby said that the pair had gone through an upset divorce in 2022.
Marie and John Snowling had been living in Camarillo prior to the bitter split where Snowling was a former cop with the Ventura Police Department. Mosby shared further details.
Marie Snowling, John Snowling’s ex-wife, was shot in the face by her ex-husband but survived. Mosby said, “He was a crazy husband, who couldn’t deal with the divorce.” She was shot in her lower jaw.
According to CBS News, The gunman was a retired sergeant from the Ventura Police Department who started his career in 1984 and retired from his job in February 2014,
John’s neighbor James Goldsmith, 68, said, Marie Snowling settled to live with her ailing mother in Orange County.
He said, “I think it reached a point where it felt like life was passing her by because he didn’t want to do anything,” He would barely maintain the house. I think she wanted to have friends and live life and that’s why I think she made the move that she did. It’s sad that he couldn’t allow that and let her live her own life.”
