Comedian and actor Andrew Dice Clay filed divorce papers on March 18 in Los Angeles Superior Court to end his marriage to Valerie Silverstein, according to People.
Andrew Dice married with The The “Blue Jasmine” star and Silverstein on Valentine’s day 2010 in Las Vegas.
Together, The couple did not have any children together.
Clay, whose real name is Andrew Silverstein, said the couple’s relationship has actually improved following the divorce proceedings.
“The word ‘marriage’ was putting a pressure on our relationship and since we filed, we’ve been more in love and have had more respect for each other than ever before,” Clay, said in a statement to People.
