WWE Chief Content Officer Paul “Triple H” Levesque confirmed the news of Bray’s demise via X (formerly known as Twitter). He wrote on Twitter:
“Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.”
How did Bray Wyatt die?
Former WWE Champion Bray Wyatt’s abrupt death has shocked the whole world of WWE. He was the most beloved wrestler of this era. According to sources, Bray died from a heart attack.
He was a three-time world champion in the WWE Championship once and Universal Championship, two times. He took a brief break from August 2018 to April 2019 and he later returned with a new character as a The Fiend.
Wyatt came from a wrestling family, his father was Hall of Famer, Mike Rotunda and his grandfather was Blackjack Mulligan, and his uncles were Barry and Kendall Windham.
