McDaniels had a record of 9 wins and 16 losses in the regular season while coaching the Raiders.
The Raiders announced on Tuesday night, that head coach, Josh McDaniels had been dismissed by Mark Davis.
Mark Davis, an American Businessman, wrote in an e-mail, “I have decided to part ways with Josh and Dave after much thought about what the Raiders need to move forward, I want to express my gratitude for their efforts and send my best wishes to them and their families.”

Davis told ESPN on Wednesday, “Unfortunately, I had great hopes for Josh and Dave, It just seemed we were going in the wrong direction. So, with the trade deadline, I just felt it was time to make a change, time to make a move.”
