Rhonda Marchi, a Washington woman, has recently resurfaced in the news on the internet because of her involvement in a murder-suicide case from 2010.
Ms. Marchi was linked to the tragic incident, facing two charges a first-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault against her then-10-year-old daughter, McKenna Hardee on March 18, 2010.
These charges stemmed from a horrifying incident on Christmas day in 2006 when Marchi gave her daughter, McKenna, crushed medicine pills dissolved in grape juice.
Rhonda Marchi was arrested and sentenced to 12 years in jail for trying to murder her daughter, and she appealed the verdict before she departed the Clallam County Superior Courtroom handcuffed.
In March, a jury found Marchi guilty of first-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault of a child for offering her then-10-year-old daughter, McKenna, crushed prescription pills partially dissolved in grape juice on Dec. 25, 2006.

Rhonda had some mental health problems, like borderline personality disorder and major depressive disorder. She said she did these things to protect McKenna from her father, who lived in Idaho.
However, her daughter said during her sentencing testimony that her father had never hurt her.
