Swiss Cyclist Gino Mader has recently died in a fatal crash during the Tour de Suisse stage 5. Various sources have confirmed his death after being treated in a hospital at Chur. It is very heartbreaking news for Gino’s loved ones and his family. Gino was a phenomenal athlete and a role model for perseverance and a treasured member.
Gino Mader Early Life:
Gino Mader was one of the most important member of the “Bahrain Victorious” team. Gino was born in Flawil in the Canton of St.Gallen. Well, Gino started his career in cycling when he was too young, and before turning his passion into a professional on the road, Mader competed at the 2016 UEC European Track Championships in the team pursuit event.

Swiss Cyclist Gino Mader Dies in an Accident:
Recently a heartbreaking news has came out through some sources. Basically, On June 16th, 2023, Gino Mader who is an excellent cyclist of his team “Bahrain Victorious” passed away in an accident. The accident occurred during the Tour de Suisse stage 5. Gino was involved in this fatal accident with 21 years old American Magnus Sheffield.
The news of his death was confirmed through various sources. An Instagram account known as “skysportde” wrote on their account, “the death of Gino where they mentioned that, “Cycling professional Gino Mäder who had a serious accident has died as a result of his fall at the Tour de Suisse.
The 26-year-old Swiss was number 5 on Thursday. Stage of the Tour de Suisse went off the road and fell into a ravine at the exit towards the finish line. Mäder was resuscitated on the spot and transported by helicopter to Chur Hospital, where he sustained his injuries. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.”
