A girl allegedly kidnapped, sexually assaulted, and hauled to the road. She left a note at a public place for help which led to the suspect being arrested. According to the police, the girl is just 13-year-old minor.
The 13-year-old girl is a resident of Texas, she was kidnapped from her hometown when she was walking in San Antonia, Texas on July 6, 2023. The Kidnapper, whose name is Steven Robert Sablan raised a gun and ordered the girl to get into his sedan car.
According to court documents, the 61-year-old Sablan began driving and told to the victim that he could take her on a cruise ship to meet her friend in Australia.
Afterward, Sablan allegedly told her she “had to do something for him first.”
Then, the teen was attempted rape and sexually assaulted by the kidnapper many times while driving the car from Texas to California.

On 9th July. Steven Robert Sablan parked his car in Long Beach, California to wash his clothes while she stayed in the car. Meanwhile, she wrote a note Help Me to catch someone’s attention, who can help her back to Texas.
“If you don’t get in the car with me, I am going to hurt you,” Sablan allegedly told the teen, who complied and got into his car.
Then, a witness saw the girl and called California Police, who arrived to find Sablan around the vehicle in Long Beach, California.
After a search of the vehicle, the officers found a black gun, a help me sign note and a handcuff.
The teen was helped to save her life by a good Samaritan woman. She is hailed as a hero after aid to the victim.
Long Beach police Chief Wally Hebeish stated, “I want to commend our community members for their vigilance and willingness to get involved by calling 9-1-1, this incident highlights the critical role community members play in keeping people safe. I would also like to acknowledge our officers for their swift response and actions which led to getting this victim to safety.”
After searching for the minor girl for a long time, the police department finally arrested the 61-year-old suspect, he is charged with kidnapping and will be sentenced to a maximum of life in jail.
