Sara Sharif’s Death Story
Sara Sharif was the daughter of Mr. Sharif and Olga Sharif, the couple were reportedly divorced in 2015, and later Sharif married Beinash Batool. Sara’s birth mother said:
“It is a huge relief and something I didn’t think would happen this quickly… but there is still a long way to go before I feel closure, I have had to wait a long time for this and I didn’t know if they would ever be able to investigate what happened to my daughter.”
An autopsy of a 10-year-old girl has not revealed the cause of death but showed that she suffered multiple and extensive injuries which were likely sustained over a period of time.
Sara Sharif Injuries: How Did Sara Sharif Die?
Sara Sharif’s family members including, her father Urfan Sharif, 41, her stepmother, Beinash Batool, 29, and her uncle, Faisal Malik, 28, came to Pakistan from the UK a day earlier Sara’s death was found.
In a video shared by Sky News, Sara’s stepmother Beinash Batool said last week the family is willing to cooperate with British authorities and “fight our case in court”. She describes Sara’s death as an incident.
She added, “Our family in Pakistan is severely affected by all that is going on,”
“The groceries have run out and there is no food for the kids as the adults are unable to leave their homes out of fear for safety.”
Sara’s uncle Imran claimed that Sara fell downstairs, Ms. Batool also denied these details and said it is spread by Pakistani media.
Who Killed Sara Sharif?
Sara Sharif’s dad, stepmother, and uncle have been arrested on suspicion of murder in connection with the death of a minor. Sara Sharif was just 10 years old as of 2023.
After an investigation, A judge has ruled Sara Sharif’s siblings, who traveled from the UK with her father, were sent to a government childcare, as per BBC News.
Surrey Police Detective Superintendent Mark Chapman and the Sussex Police Major Crime Team said that the first priority of the department is the safety and welfare of these five children.
“A court hearing today has ruled that they will be taken to a Pakistani government childcare facility and we will continue to support our partners in ensuring that the welfare of the five children remains a priority.
“Our inquiries remain ongoing to locate Urfan Sharif, Beinash Batool, and Faisal Malik, who we would like to speak to as part of our inquiries into Sara’s death.”
According to a Surrey spokesperson, the trio were arrested on suspicion of murder after disembarking a flight from Dubai. They are now detained in custody and will be interviewed in due course.
