Froilanis Rivas Román, 34, was the victim of the electric shock. The woman, of Venezuelan origin, had been in Cartagena for a few months, where she had arrived with her 10-year-old daughter. The lightning struck around 4 p.m.

Immediately, he saw that the woman had collapsed on the shore of the beach, so he sought to help her. “I called my boss to call an ambulance immediately, the truth is that the ambulance came pretty quickly,” he added.
Álvaro Cruz, director of the Emergency Regulation Center (CRUE), confirmed that the woman was transferred to a local hospital, but could not be revived.
“You were and will be a daughter to me. You are a very beautiful being at heart, aunt, although many people betray you and hurt you, you never changed your way of being so beautiful with everyone. You hurt a lot, we knew you had many plans for your girl. “You were an excellent mother, daughter, sister, granddaughter, and aunt,” they wrote to Froilanis on her Facebook profile.
