A pro-Palestine rally turned into a fatal on Sunday after 69-year-old Jewish counterprotester, named Paul Kessler was forced and fell head-first to the ground. He was first transferred to a hospital and the next day he passed away.
First of all, Los Angeles Magazine confirmed the news of Paul Kessler’s death on Monday.
“The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the incident and has not ruled out the possibility of a hate crime,” the authorities said.
“An autopsy was performed on November 6th and the Ventura County Medical Examiner’s Office determined the cause of death to be blunt force head injury and the manner of death homicide,” The police said in an interview on media, “This is an active and ongoing investigation, and the incident appears to be isolated and not part of a large effort.”

Rabbi Moshe D. Bryski, executive director of Chabad of Agoura Hills and dean of the Conejo Jewish Academy in the area, provided the information about the whole incident, “There was some altercation between him and one of the pro-Palestinian demonstrators, the details are not known yet exactly what took place but we do know that Paul Kessler from Thousand Oaks was pushed, he fell to the ground, he banged his head on the pavement, and early this morning he passed away.”

Kessler Was Hit Over the Head With a Megaphone
“While we wait for more information from our law enforcement partners, we remind you that this is the fourth major antisemitic crime committed in Los Angeles this year alone. Violence against our people has no place in civilized society. We demand safety. We will not tolerate violence against our community. We will do everything in our power to prevent it.”
He wrote in a Twitter post, “As of 5:42 pm, this is the situation: They have conflicting reports of what happened, and they did interview the suspect that is identified in social media at the event. They have no video, They are seeking any video that shows Paul being attacked but do not have any right now.
