District Attorney Dan Dow announced on 10th March 2023 that Paul Flores, 46, was sentenced to serve 25 years to life in state Jail after a jury convicted him last October of the first-degree murder of Kristin Denise Smart. Paul and his father both were charged with Kristin’s murder while his dad Ruben Flores was acquitted and Paul was charged with Kristin’s murder.
When, Kristin Smart, 19, left a college fraternity party on 25th May 1996 at that moment she fainted on a lawn and two students tried to help her to leave her to her dorm house. A third student named Paul Flores said to the students that he would leave Kristin in her dorm safely.
Afterward, Paul Flores attempted rape and later murdered her at his house. Although it is still unclear what he did with her body, there is no trace of her body as of June 2023. Now, it’s been 27 years of missing Kristin Smart. Her death was announced in 2002 and her body had been never found.
