The school teacher has been identified as Kevin Saint Clair, 64, he was characterized as a dedicated teacher and caring colleague to the school community. He was a beloved 6th-grade teacher and middle-class dean.
According to reports, he sustained several injuries on his body when he got struck in a multi-vehicle crash. The accident happened on 7th November Evening when he was on his bike.
The school said in a tribute on their Facebook page earlier Tuesday afternoon, that St. Clair taught 6th grade and was also a middle school dean.

Masterman Middle and High School Principal Jeannine A-H Payne stated on Tuesday night 7 November 2023.
“Today we were informed that Kevin St. Clair teacher, and former dean and coach in our school community lost his life in a tragic car accident last night.
Though officially retired Kevin has remained a prominent figure throughout the school and in the lives of many of our students. Kevin was a dedicated teacher and a caring colleague to many of us. He was one of the first people I met when I arrived at Masterman as he was supporting Marge in the main office. He will be missed by so many within our school walls and beyond.
Members of our school community are in direct contact with Kevin’s family and the district office of communications has been engaged.
Counseling/ mental health support for staff and students has been requested for our school community beginning tomorrow morning.”

Kevin St. Clair was a J.R. Masterman School teacher, dean, and coach. He was 64 years old until his tragic death on 7 November 2023. He died after a collision among vehicles on the road and he immediately took to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was declared dead.
