Maki Death: Did Maki Die?
No Maki didn’t die, after Jogo mourns Dagon’s death, he attacks Maki, Nanami, and Naobito which causes Naobito’s death, and Nanami survives the attack. After that, Nanami meets Mahito who who blows up his upper half body in front of Yuji, and Nanami dies.
Along with Nanami, Maki also survived the attack due to her extraordinary powers. Later, she passes through an Important Change and emerges as one of the strongest characters in the series.
How Did Maki Survive Jogo?
Maki survived Jogo’s attempt because she had extraordinary powers that gave her the ability to withstand Jogo’s attack. Jogo attacked her after Toji Fushiguro beat Dagon. As per Fandomwire, Maki returns to the Zenin clan to retrieve the Cursed Tools stored in their warehouse in chapter 148.
Well, after Jogo’s attack, Naobito dies on the spot but Nanami and Maki survive his attack. Kento Nanami was later killed by Mahito who is one of the primary antagonists of the series.
