Jimmie Johnso is a professional auto-racing driver. He is a seven-time NASCAR Cup series champion. He is currently 47 years old as of 2023. He was scheduled for this week’s racing but unfortunately withdrawn because of his in-laws’ fatal accident.
Jimmie Johnson was born on 17 September 1975 to Gary Ernest Johnson and Catherine Ellen Johnson. He resides with his family in El Cajon, California. He also has two young brothers Jarit and Jessie Johnson, who are also competed in off-road racing.
He got married to a former model and actress Chandra Janway in 2004 and the couple has two daughters. Chandra’s parents Jack and Terry Janway his nephew were shot and killed at their residence on Monday around 9 pm. According to police, Jimmie’s MIL Terry is convicted as a shooter.
Jimmy started his career in racing when he was just four years old. He began his career in NASCAR in 1998 and his first race was in the NASCAR series cup 2001 UAW-GM Quality 500 and his last race is the 2023 EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix (Austin).
