Jimmie Johnson Family Tragedy: The parents and Nephew of the NASCAR champion Jimmie Johnson’s wife Chandra Johnson were found dead on Monday at their home.

The seven-time NASCAR series cup winner, Jimmie Johnson, and his wife Chandra Janway are facing a tragic time at this moment as their parents and a nephew were found dead in a suspect of murder on 26 June 2023.
The father-in-law, 69 Jack Janway, and mother-in-law 68, Terry Janway, and 11-year-old Dalton Janway, nephew of Jimmie Johnson found shot and killed after a disruption call to Janway’s house Monday evening. According to reports, these three persons died in the murder case.
On Tuesday NASCAR issued a statement while expressing condolence, “We are saddened by the tragic deaths of members of Chandra Johnson’s family. The entire NASCAR family extends its deepest support and condolences during this difficult time to Chandra, Jimmie, and the entire Johnson & Janway families.”
Chandra Johnson Family Murder
Former model and actress Chandra Janway’s family members were murdered on Monday. The actress, 44, got married to race car driver, 47, Jimmie Johnson in 2004 after being in a romantic relationship for years. Recently the news surfaced about their family murder which shook them from the inside.
The couple does have two daughters, 12-year-old Genevieve and Lydia, 9. Chandra Janway grew up in Muskogee with her parents and her father worked as a chiropractor since 1983.
NASCAR Champ Family Accident, Murder-Suicide Case
According to Muskogee, Oklahoma, police, it was believed a murder-suicide case. NASCAR’s mother Terry Janway shot his husband and her grandson and later she shot herself.
Police officer Lynn Hamlin confirmed, “According to an MPD media release, dispatch received a call at approximately 9:05 p.m. Monday from the residence at 2827 Suroya St. from a woman saying there was a disturbance and someone there with a gun — then hung up.”
“The release also says that [officers] found one victim, later identified as Jack Janway, laying in the hallway inside the house. Shortly after that, they heard another gunshot from further inside the house.
“Officers pulled Janway outside and began making announcements for any other occupants to come outside.
“Once more officers arrived, a search began of the residence and they found Terry and Dalton dead inside the house,” he added.
Jimmie Johnson’s In-laws’ Family Death
Jimmie Johnson, 47, was scheduled to compete in NASCAR’s cup series race in Chicago on Sunday but he was withdrawn from the event after this incident. He retired from full-time competition in the driving race in 2020 and the last time he won his final cup series title in 2016.
