Yes, Akwa Okuko was kidnapped on Sunday in his hometown in Oba in the Idemili North local government area of Anambra State.
Akwa Okuko is a native doctor, also known as Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki, often regarded as one of the richest and most powerful men in the South East. It was believed that he has the power of disappearance but he could not disappear when the kidnappers reached for him.
According to sources, before he was kidnapped his two personal security men were shot and dead surrounding the hotel. Afterward, he had been kidnapped by the gunmen in the triple hotel.
According to the command’s spokesman, DSP Tochukwu Ikenga, the incident took place on Sunday night around 11:30 pm. He said, “CP Aderemi Adeoye has ordered that operatives go after his abductors and ensure his release.”
After his two security men were found shot dead, “Where is Nwa Ocha & Odeshi?” a source reportedly said.
According to an outlet, Akwa Okuko launched two hotels in 2022 in Oba and he is the richest doctor in the state.
How Akwa Okuko Tiwara Aki Kidnapped?
When he was in one of his triple p hotels at the moment some kidnappers abducted him after killing two of his personal aides at the hotel. As the kidnappers came to him to abduct him they had not even called his family for ransom to be paid.
