How did Graham Potter Murder, Kim Barry?
The infamous murderer first met with Kim Barry, a nineteen-year-old shop assistant, at a nightclub and then he brought her to his home where he did bad things and injured her several times and later he cut her finger and her head.
When her parents back back from a weekend to discovered their 19-year-old daughter Kim was gone but they could not believe it until the truth came. Then news broke that a body had been found in some bushland south of their home in Wollongong, New South Wales.
In 1981, the headless and fingerless body of Kim Narelle Barry was found dumped in the bush at a mountain lookout near Wollongong, south of Sydney.
Her skull was totally damaged and according to the report she was bludgeoned to death. The Detectives discovered that on that night she died, Kim was in the company of a local miner, where a 23-year-old boy named Graham Potter used to work.
He immediately disappeared after this horrible incident.
After Kim went out with a friend, she was killed and her body was badly hurt. The police thought it was like a gang fight at first, but they soon started looking at one of Kim’s friends, Graham Gene Potter, as a suspect.
Then, Graham Potter was convicted of Kim Barry’s murder and sentenced to life imprisonment. He was released in 1996 after serving 15 years.
Kim Barry, 19, was an Australian resident who used to live with her parents Brian and Beverly Barry. She was murdered by Potter on his bucks night in 1981 in Wollongong.
In 2008, he was detained in 2008 in connection with his involvement in drug dealing and other cases. He committed several crimes and in 2010 he ran away from his city and evaded cops for over 12 years and now he is serving life imprisonment.

A former Detective Keith Smith said, “Kim was a teenager starting her adult life and had gone out to enjoy herself.’’
He added, “After he met Kim at the disco, the pair went back to Potter’s flat at Corrimal,’’
“We are pretty sure Kim rejected his advances and he got enraged and hit her with incredible force over the head with a spanner.
“He went back to the disco an hour later and told his brother he changed his mind about sleeping with her and she went home.’’
