Recently, governor of Kentucky “Andy Beshear” won reelection on Tuesday night and one of the first people he thanked in his victory speech was Hadley Duvall, who appeared in an ad for his campaign. Hadley is a rape survivor who addressed “Daniel Cameron” in the ad that went viral online and made Duvall a notable voice in the campaign.
There is a video that went viral in which Hadley said, “I was raped by my stepfather after years of sexual abuse. I was 12. Anyone who believes there should be no exceptions for rape and incest could never understand what it’s like to stand in my shoes.”
She continued, “This is to you, Daniel Cameron. To tell a 12-year-old girl she must have the baby of her stepfather who raped her is unthinkable. I’m speaking out because women and girls need to have options. Daniel Cameron would give us none.”

In the ad, she addressed Beshear’s Republican opponent, Daniel Cameron, directly in the ad and made Duvall a prominent voice in the campaign. Well, now Hadley is in her 20’s and doing great in her life.

Hadley Duvall is a girl who was raped by her stepfather and was just an innocent 12-year-old when she learned she was pregnant. As per the reports, Hadley’s stepfather is “Jeremy Whitledge” who is now serving prison time. In a talk, Hadley explained how her stepfather did wrong with her.
She said, “I was in seventh-grade, and I didn’t know what to do,” I asked him why he was doing what he was doing, and he manipulated me and told me that this is normal and that this is love and that’s what love is. So, that’s what I believed.”
“I missed my period one month and I was like, ‘oh my gosh I don’t even know what to do.’ So I told him,” she added. “I told my stepdad and he was like, ‘well I’m going to have to come check you out of school one day. Just pretend like you’re sick and I’ll check you out and we’ll go get a test.’ So that’s what we did. They were positive and I had no idea what to do.”
