Gina Bryant who was studying at the University of Michigan-Flint to be a nurse, was killed on October 13, 2023, by Justin Wendling who was her boyfriend. Justin was a doctor from “Holly, Michigan”, and was also employed as a resident at Ascension Genesys Hospital. On October 13, local police found Gina’s body near the fuel pumps.
As per the latest report by the Macomb County Sheriff’s Office, Justin had shot and killed Gina at approximately 12:00 AM, he then fled to Bettendorf, Iowa. It was reported to the MCSO that as local officers approached the vehicle, Justin shot and killed himself.

Gina Bryant was a good student of “Michigan-Flint”, she went there to become a nurse but she couldn’t, and at an early age she lost her life. She was around 25-27 years old when she was killed. Her boyfriend “Justin Wendling” was a doctor and a medical resident at Ascension Genesys Hospital. Justin shot and killed Gina and then took his own life. The main cause of this tragic incident was their abusive relationship that Gina had decided to end, and after their break up this happened.
“It was suspected that Ms. Bryant was with ex-boyfriend, Justin Wendling, a 26-year-old male from Holly, MI. MCSO investigation revealed that the suspect had been waiting at the victim’s home when she returned for lunch. A neighbor’s surveillance video showed the suspect leading the victim to his vehicle at approximately 1:42 PM on 10/12/2023” said Macomb County Sheriff’s Office statement released on its official Facebook page.
