Basically, on July 29, 2023, a tragic incident accord in which a family went to their daughter-in-law’s house and had lunch, but after eating that lunch all four members were sent to the hospital in Malburn, but unfortunately three of them dead in hospital and Ian, 68, remains in a critical condition in hospital and is believed to be waiting on a liver transplant. The lunch all four members had was cooked by Don and Gail Patterson’s daughter-in-law “Erin Patterson”. Erin Patterson was married to Simon Patterson and has two kids a son and a daughter as per reports.
At the time of the lunch, there were four members who ate that meal. So all four members were “Don Patterson”, and “Gail Patterson” both 70, and the father-in-law and mother-in-law of Erin, (Heather Wilkinson 66, and Ian Wilkinson 68) who were Gail’s sister and brother-in-law. Well, of those four members, three are dead and Ian is in critical condition.
Well, some reports have come out that show that the family has eaten highly toxic death cap mushrooms. Victoria Health also alerted people not to use or eat dangerous mushrooms after weeks of wet weather. Police investigating the mysterious circumstances around the tragedy have also found a used dehydrator which they believe may have been used while preparing the dish.
‘I didn’t do anything,’ Erin Patterson said on Monday, wiping away tears while speaking to reporters outside her home. She also said, ‘I loved them and I’m devastated that they’re gone.’ ‘Gail was like the mum I didn’t have because my mum passed away four years ago and Gail had never been anything but good and kind to me,’ she continued. ‘Ian and Heather were some of the best people I’d ever met. They never did anything wrong to me.’ She added.
