Kate Garraway, a Journalist, is still caring for her husband Derek. Recently Kate revealed that he is still in and out of the hospital as per Mirror.
Kate, 56, hopped onto her social media to detail about her husband, “Derek has been in and out of the hospital a lot recently -hopefully the wonderful health teams will help him improve but I woke up early feeling exhausted & very fretful.
As you know my garden is my #happyplace so came out for some #calm and to get stuck into some weeding & planting. It’s been ages since have been able to & I really missed it but nature hasn’t me. The flowers are blooming, fruits growing, and leaves dancing in the breeze. Am sure there’s a message in there somewhere for how life finds a way, and I certainly feel better for being in amongst it. Now to get my hands dirty & get stuck in!

Derek Draper, 55, has worked as a political advisor and Psychotherapist. He has written two books Blair’s 100 Days and Life Support. He has had a serious case of long Covid 19, he was first hospitalized in March 2020 due to Covid 19 and stayed in the hospital for 1 year.
As of July 2023, he has multiple health issues and still getting medical procedures in the hospital to recover from the illness.

Derek Draper, 55, got ill with the Covid 19 in the first wave of Covid virus in 2020 and he has struggled to make a full recovery.
Kate explained, ‘Sir Elton John happened to have a friend who was in a coma in L.A. at the time when Derek first got sick with COVID, and through weird connections, we ended up speaking,’
She recently shared an Instagram post while hanging out with Draper and her family.
Derek is an author and former political advisor, he started his political career in 1990 after a year, he left the job to work as a researcher for the MP for Hartlepool, Peter Mandelson.
